Saturday, August 9th is my birthday and I’m having a Zoom call for anyone who’s not coming to my party in person! It officially starts at 9pm ET/6pm PT, but I’ll have it open a little earlier in case that’s more convenient for anyone. I’ve set it to go until 10:30pm PT, which should be more than enough. This year is my 63rd birthday, but I never got a milestone 60th birthday party because it was in the height of the pandemic in 2022.
So, ideas for the call:
- Hold your breath for 60 seconds! (I can’t do this.)
- Pet your favorite person or animal 6 or 60 times!
- Scrawl the numerals “6” and “0” in crayon on a piece of paper and hold it up to the camera! Oops! Now turn it right side up!
- Do NOT do 60 shots! Maybe 60 mL? (about 2 oz.)
Also, as Sean reminds me, Friday 8/8 is INTERNATIONAL CAT DAY! What’s that you say, EVERY day is International Cat Day? Well of course, so let’s also celebrate this on the 9th, with vows of service and obedience to Her Royal Highness Eights The Cat.
