Just what you’re looking for!

Welcome, Artovida Team.

Thanks so much for getting back to me and for liking my artwork.

Brightly colored digital illustration of a green hummingbird poised next to a red ginger flower. The background is a vibrant mix of oranges and yellows.

You asked how I can help you—here are three ways. Below you’ll find:

  1. Images in 9 by 2.75 proportions, as you requested. Click here to jump to this section.
  2. The “cut paper” style illustrations featured on my “Welcome, Artovida” page, mocked up on some of your products, to give you an idea of which ones might work where. I used the three you saw before—”Hummingbird,” “Kiss,” and “Lucy”—plus a new one, an abstract portrait of another feline, “Izzy.” Click here to jump to this section.
  3. Additional images that may work for your products. I’ve also created mockups with these images on your products—contact me if you’d like to see them. Click here to jump to this section.

Again, I’m very interested in working with Artovida. Please get in touch if you’d like to get started collaborating! You can email me at nginzler@gmail.com, phone or text me at +1 415-637-2702, or use this website’s Contact form.

Looking forward to hearing from you again,

—Nicola

1. Images in a 9 x 2.75 aspect ratio.

Brightly colored digital illustration of a green hummingbird poised next to a red ginger flower. The background is a vibrant mix of oranges and yellows.
I created “Hummingbird” from a photo by tracing it in Adobe Illustrator and adding found textures manipulated in Adobe Photoshop. See below for mockups of this on the Artovida Baggies and Cross Body Bag.
Cut paper-style digital illustration of a black cat lying down, looking directly at the viewer. The cat has a jagged red outline, yellow-green eyes, and red whiskers. Under her is red serif text: "Lucy wonders if you taste good."
I created this digital art, “Lucy,” in Adobe Illustrator, traced from a photo. See below for mockups of this on the Artovida Baggies and Bamboo Purse. The full image has text at the bottom in red: “Lucy wonders whether you taste good.”
Horizontal rectangle with repeating pattern. Photo of stylized bunny face and ears, drawn in chalk on a sidewalk, with heavily pixelated background in saturated speckled yellows and blues.
“Concrete Bunny” started with a photo of a bunny face drawn with chalk on a sidewalk. I have a mockup of a single bunny on the Artovida Insulated Beverage Tote.
Horizontal rectangle. Repeating pattern of a photo of a single Paris Daisy, heavily color-manipulated so it's orange and magenta.
A “Paris Daisy” in my neighborhood. They’re yellow in real life. I have mockups of this on the Artovida Baggies and Luggage Label.
Horizontal rectangle with a black background. Repeating staggered pattern of a posterized photo of a copper eye with a clear red plastic half-sphere for an iris.
Eyeball, you ball, we all ball for eyeball. This image started with a photo of a 18″ by 8″ steel eye I cut and welded, then finished with copper leaf. The red resin “iris” lights up. I have mockups of this “Copper Eye” pattern on the Artovida Bamboo Purse and a single eye on the Artovida Trivet & Towel Set.
Horizontal rectangle. Repeating pattern of a high contrast photo of spiky leaves in black, with a vibrant yellow background.
I took a photo of plants with spiky Pride of Madeira leaves, repeated it to make a pattern, boosted the contrast, and added a yellow overlay. I have a mockup of “Spiky Leaves” on the Artovida Mousepad.

3. Additional images: vibrant colors and repeating patterns.

Please let me know if you’d like to use these images. I’ve created mockups of them on your products. Contact me if you’d like to see them.

Posterized photo of fabricated metal copper-colored eye with red resin center as an iris, against black background.
I cut the extremely complex shapes for this 18″ x 8″ steel eye on a computer-controlled CNC Plasma Cutter. They were then MIG welded together, with holes drilled for mounting and the electrical connection. I applied copper leaf to the lids, eyelashes and the inner surface. The iris is a half-sphere of translucent red resin with LEDs embedded in it. When you hook it up to power—instant Halloween eye! Visit my “Eyeball Youball” blog post for more information.
I silhouetted the eye out of a photo and created a posterized, color-saturated image against a black background. I have mockups of “Copper Eye” on the Artovida Bamboo Purse and Trivet & Towel Set.
Horizontal image with altered photo of bright pink background and lilies and grasses in purple.
These are “Fortnight Lilies” and barley stalks. In real life the lilies have six white petals, three of which have pale purple streaks and bright yellow tips. The barley is green with feathery ends. I have a mockup of this on the Artovida Uptown Tote.
Image of an altered photo of a hedge with small round leaves. Colors are purples and blues with highlights of coral.
An altered photo of a “Red/Green Hedge” in my neighborhood. I have a mockup of this on the Artovida Case for AirPods.
